Guidelines For Pedestrian - Highway code |

- Pedestrian should use pavement if it is available. Always leave gape from the curb for your safety. Before starting to walk on the road do not forget to observe both side of the road.

- Some time there is no provision of pavement on the near the road because of enough space then always walk on right hand side of the road therefore you and driver have knowledge of each others. Hence you can avoid any sudden move. It is desirable to walk in single queue therefore enough space available for other road user.

- Wear bright coloured or reflective material to help other road user to see your presents in the darkness.

- When people walk in large group in night should carry white light on front and red light at the end of group in the darkness.
